One of the responsibilities of a Social Media Manager is to make sure that SEO and SEM practices are being combined to target a relevant audience to increase the business website ranking.

Implementing Promotion and Advertising. Social Media Managers should maximize the use of the Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. In able to grow and promote your businesses valuable content, advertising may be required. Most of the time it’s up to a Social Media Manager to decide which social media platforms can be profitable, where to advertise, and what the budget will be.

Make sure that the Social Media Manager Analyze and Measure Effectiveness of Social Media Strategy. Social Media Managers are required to record cumulative data from every post that is made from every social media platform. Data should be monitored and reported frequently. The commonly monitored metrics include: Number of Followers, Number of posts, Client Engagements and Blog Traffic.
